Today, Tom Walker, known for singles such as Leave a Light On and Just You and I, played not one but two free sets in St George’s Square, Huddersfield.

The day after releasing his brand-new single Holy Ghost, he brought himself to the centre of Huddersfield to give two 30-minute acoustic sets at 11am and 1pm. The sets consisted of all the songs fans love, and the stories behind them. It brought together the people of Huddersfield, which is exactly what music is supposed to do. He then made time to say hello to as many locals as possible and made sure he supported local businesses. He even invited local buskers to join in on the event, such as Mason Whittle.
Tom aims to bring music to places that tours tend to miss out, and so far, he’s also visited Tamworth, Barnsley, Wrexham and Colchester, however Huddersfield turned out to be a very special set. His latest single is about the love he has for his wife, Annie, and his performance today has acted as celebration for it, taking place in the town she was born.

His new single, Holy Ghost, is out now and Tom requests that we ‘listen to it on repeat for months’ to help him reach the charts!
