I’m slightly late to the party, but having just heard Dreadful Creatures’ latest single Meat & Bone, I just had to give my view!

With gritty vocals, and a catchy melody from the start, I found myself thoroughly enjoying Meat & Bones. Towards the end of the song, the mood gets darker, and the song becomes more dramatic and angrier, before reverting to the beginning riff. Its rock done well, with intricate instruments. It’s evident that time and thought has been put into writing the song and tidying it up to perfect the sound that Dreadful Creatures aimed for.
Enjoying the song start to finish, I’ve found myself looking forward to what Dreadful Creatures are to release next, and having a little boogie to their previous work. It has the classic alternative sound that I grew up hearing on Scuzz TV. A few artists came to mind in comparison, but particularly Black Veil Brides and Motionless in White with dark themes, and catchy melodies.
Meat & Bone is out now, so go have a little listen!
